Unlike traditional selective racking where each pallet has its own dedicated space, pushback racking utilizes a series of nested carts that slide on inclined rails. This allows pallets to be stored several deep and provides a Last-In, First-Out (LIFO) inventory management system, maximizing storage capacity and efficiency in warehouse operations
Drive In Racking
A high-density storage system where pallets are stored on rails or channels within the racking structure. Forklifts can drive directly into the rack lanes to deposit or retrieve pallets, making it suitable for Last-In, First-Out (LIFO) inventory management. This system maximizes storage capacity by eliminating aisles between racks, making it ideal for storing large quantities of homogeneous products with few SKUs
